What To Expect
Hunters can expect to be out in the field approximately 45 minutes before legal shooting light until the hunt concludes at 5 p.m. (CA Fish and Wildlife rule) We will start the morning near a roost with decoys set and calls ready, hoping to harvest a mature tom once the birds fly down. After the morning session, we will cover ground locating turkeys and either spot and stalk, or set up decoys and call in birds throughout the rest of the day. We accommodate all skill levels and fitness levels on our hunts.
You can expect shots to be anywhere from 10 yards to 60 yards with both shotgun and archery equipment.
