We guide across more than 40,000 acres of well-managed private leases on California's Central Coast — centrally located just south of Monterey and north of Santa Barbara, with oak hills, barley fields, brush country, timber and canyons.

Use the Book a Hunt button anywhere on the site to request dates through our Mallard Bay booking page, or call us at 805.674.1010. We'll confirm availability and walk you through licenses and tags for your hunt.

Every hunt requires a valid California hunting license, plus the species-specific tag or validation — a wild pig validation for wild boar, a drawn Tule elk tag or a PLM elk tag purchased through us, an A-zone or AO (archery only) tag for deer, or an upland validation for birds. Non-lead ammunition is required. See each hunt page for specifics.

In-field transportation, field dressing, trophy care, and our in-house meat processing and skullworks, plus snacks and water in the field. Lodging and meals are available as an add-on on select hunts.

Yes. Combo packages let you pursue two species in one trip — turkey and pig, management blacktail and pig, upland and pig, or varmint/predator and pig. Custom combinations are available on request.

Absolutely. A Non-Hunter Ride-Along lets friends and family join the experience, and guests age 16 and under ride free where noted. The Central Coast makes a great family trip with nearby wineries, beaches and small towns.

Deposit refund windows vary by hunt — commonly 30 to 90 days before the hunt date. Wounded or hit animals count as a harvest. Check the specific hunt page or contact us for the exact terms on your booking.

Your valid California license and the correct tag or validation, weather-appropriate layers and boots for varied terrain, your firearm or archery equipment with non-lead ammunition, and any personal gear. Reach out and we'll help you prep for your specific hunt.
