About This Hunt

This two-day, fully guided Rio Grande turkey hunt is offered during the spring and fall seasons on California's Central Coast. Spring hunts focus on calling birds during breeding activity, while fall hunts are more often spot-and-stalk or ambush-style hunts depending on conditions.

Hunters can expect two mornings and two evenings in the field, transportation to and from hunting areas, drinks, snacks, and field dressing of the trophy after a successful harvest. Lost Valley Outfitters accommodates all skill and fitness levels and works to provide shot opportunities within ethical shooting distance.

Before You Book

Licenses, Tags & Policy

Required: valid California hunting license, upland game bird stamp validation, and archery equipment or shotgun with non-lead turkey loads. Hunting concludes by 5 p.m. under California Fish and Wildlife rules. Deposits are refundable only when canceled at least 60 days before the hunt.
